The short version
Saltydog began with a simple wish: a room that smells like sea air.
We started on the Florida gulf coast, where the light is soft and everything eventually goes a little salt-worn. We wanted decor that captured that feeling — calm, collected, lived-in — without the kitsch.
So we design every piece ourselves: abstract anchors reduced to a single curve, geometric waves, the quiet of a lighthouse on the horizon. Then we make them in small runs with people who still finish things by hand.
The result is coastal decor you can layer into a real home — or an entire beach rental — and have it feel intentional, not themed.
Coastal, not literal
We design the feeling of the shore — weathered rope, sea glass, soft tide-blues — never a replica of any place or institution.
Hand-finished
Driftwood is hand-selected, rope is hand-knotted, glass is mouth-blown. Small variations are the signature, not a flaw.
Considered materials
OEKO-TEX cottons, recycled-wool blends, ethically sourced shells and FSC-minded woods wherever we can.

Every motif is our own geometry. No military, naval or brand logos — ever. It keeps our work honest and yours worry-free.
